Some internet terms you need to know


It is clear that the internet is a world filled with knowledge. The internet has proven to be that world where almost every impossibility is becoming possible. From the areas of entertainment, education, business, and all others, the internet takes place. Due to how much the internet is being used lately, it might be hard to benefit from it if you do not know some of its technical terms. Sometimes, it can be irritating when you just do not know what is being said to you. That is why knowing the terms is important.
These terms include
1.       Broadband. So, what is broadband all about? Well, this is one internet term that is very important and needs to be known. It relates to high-speed communication networks. Here, it specifically has to do with one that has frequency ranges are divided into various private channels for concurrent signal transmissions in the form of data, voice, or video. Today, broadband is considered as one of the best ways to surf the internet. That is why you will find more and more people interested in this unique form of service. You can decide to benefit from them too since they are not expensive. Currently, those broadband that are installed in homes are the cheapest. Those installed for homes do not come with static IP addresses. However, those installed for businesses do have.
2.       Browser. This is another technical internet term which is a computer app or program. It is a program used to access or visit websites or information on the world wide web network.
3.       Cookies. A cookie or cookies are filed that might or an be included to your PC whenever you visit specific websites. Also, they contain details about you.
4.       Client. Computers in networks that make use of services offered by servers are clients.
5.       Ethernet. This is a system of wires as well as devices used to connect computers in order to ensure they work well together.
6.       Email. This is a system or method through which messages are electronically transmitted between one computer and the other on a network.
7.       HTTP. It is a communications protocol that governs data exchange, particularly on the world wide web. It is also known as the hypertext transport protocol.
8.       HTML. This is a unique computer language used in creating documents or websites online or on the internet.
9.       Internet. It is an electronic communication network that links PC networks and business computer facilities worldwide.
10.   ISP. This is the acronym for internet service provider.
